Seamless bras that don't show through

What you see through a fitted shirt is almost never the fabric itself. It's a seam or a finished edge: a height difference of a millimetre or two, and that's enough to draw a line under thin jersey. A bra stitched together from separate panels has those differences by definition.

Our bras are circular knitted rather than stitched together from pieces. So there's no seam to show through and no edge to press through the fabric. That's the whole difference, and you only see it once you wear it under your own clothes.

Two styles, two ways of finishing the back

The choice mostly comes down to the back. If you want the flattest possible line under a fitted shirt, the smooth back without a closure wins. If you want to be able to adjust the band size as your body changes, the hook closure wins.

Seamless isn't the same as invisible

Even a seamless bra will show through if the size isn't right: a cup that's too small pushes volume over the edge, and that's a line you'll definitely see. And under very thin or light fabric, a colour close to your skin tone works better than white. White is brighter than almost any skin tone, which makes it stand out rather than disappear.

Does a seamless bra show through under fitted clothing?

Not if the size is right. Our bras are circular knitted, so there are no seams or finished edges to show through under fitted tops, T-shirts and dresses. If the cup size isn't right, the edge of the cup will still show through.

Does an underwire-free seamless bra give enough support?

Yes, provided the band is wide enough and the cup holds its shape. The support comes from the construction rather than from an underwire, which spreads the pressure over a larger area. For a fuller cup, choose a style with side support.

Do your seamless bras have a closure?

That depends on the style. The Luma Contour doesn't have one: you pull it on like a top, with a smooth back. The Luma Forma Bra 2.0 has a three-row hook closure and adjustable, removable straps, so you can adjust the band and straps to your size.

What sizes are your seamless bras available in?

The Luma Contour runs from S to XXL in 12 colours. The Luma Forma Bra 2.0 runs from XS to 3XL, with half sizes for those who fall between two sizes.

How do I wash a seamless bra?

At 30 degrees in a laundry bag or by hand. Not in the dryer, and let it air dry. This keeps the elasticity, and with it the fit, intact for as long as possible.
